Zobler’s, The Ned

I’m fan of the The Ned, it’s no lie (the Ned being the whopping great big gigantic huge hotel from Soho House in the City). Just like other big and brash ventures in London right now like Sexy Fish, Park Chinois and Isabel, they really get me going. Arriving at The Ned’s foyer, which gives you 8 options of where to eat your dinner, what … Continue reading Zobler’s, The Ned

Kaia, The Ned

The Ned is that new super hotel in the City from the Soho House Group. It’s friggin’ huge; and to prove it, they’ve got nine restaurants in the place. Two are members only, then you’ve got Cecconi’s, Zobler’s (recently reviewed by my old mate Jay Rayner), Cafe Sou, Millie’s Lounge, The Nickel Bar, Malibu Kitchen and this, Kaia. Its offering is “Asian-Pacific”. Its location is … Continue reading Kaia, The Ned

Dean Street Townhouse

Dean Street Townhouse, if you hadn’t guessed, has a rather splendid location on Dean Street in Soho. It’s a hotel and restaurant owned by the Soho House group but you don’t have to be a member to enjoy either. The dining room was a long and fairly narrow space and on our Thursday night visit for my sister’s birthday it was heaving; the bar along … Continue reading Dean Street Townhouse

Electric Diner

The Electric Diner is a collaboration between the Soho House people and renowned Chicago based chef Brendan Sodikoff. It’s situated on the Portobello Road on the former site of the Electric Brasserie which closed and has since had a massive renovation. I was lucky enough to be invited along to the ‘launch do’ of the Electric Diner and was rather excited to be going – … Continue reading Electric Diner

Dirty Burger, Kentish Town

Come out of Kentish Town tube station, turn right, walk for 6 1/2 minutes and tucked behind Pizza East in the rather unlikely setting of a car park you’ll find Dirty Burger. It’s the latest offering to burger ridden London from the Soho House Group. There’s nothing unique here but they serve burgers and everyone loves burgers don’t they! The entrance was nestled under a … Continue reading Dirty Burger, Kentish Town
